| Pests and diseases are often
confused! Basically the difference being, that a pest is something that has
legs - or at least moves! Whilst a disease is usually as a result of a
fungal or viral infection. Pests are normally
sprayed with an insecticide, or perhaps slug pellets or mole-traps etc.
Diseases are normally treated with a fungicide - though in
the case of viral diseases, simply have to be destroyed to stop the
infection spreading or taking hold.
