Gardening is so easy - when you know how!
All of the gardening advice, help and information on this site has been written specially by professional gardeners. We try to keep our information up to date, and would appreciate any comments about our gardening advice - especially if you have something to add or some gardening advice or information you would like to add.
Essentially
we cover the basics of Gardening Advice. Not too deep, but enough to
give you a good start in any gardening subject.
It is our aim to try and find out what aspects of gardening you really want advice about - and then give it.
We will not simply be feeding loads of information about the different aspects of gardening. Many sites already do that. We want to be different. We want to write about the things that you are searching for. We have methods of finding that out.
Gardening is a huge subject, and takes place in virtually every country on earth. We hope to explore those different countries and find out what gardening really like for the people of this Earth! Many of our plants - wherever you live - will have originated in different countries to the one in which you live and do your own bit of gardening. Come explore with us. Better still, help us by letting us know about gardening in your country. Your garden in particular. We will make space for you - just like we make space for any new plant that happens to come our way as gardeners ourselves.
Above all, we want to make gardening easy. If only the gardening retail trade would adopt that as policy, they would increase their turnover hugely. They would have repeat business year after year, if they could simply get the message that gardening should be rewarding. Rewarding for the customer that is! The whole trade - suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and garden writers - need a kick in the bum. Stop living in the past and simply repeating the same old things every year. Be innovative.
There are 'favourites' in everyone's gardens, but we are going to and try to stray away from our own gardening favourites. Tread paths anew. Come and join us.
